Customer communication: Exponential-e’s latest update for the Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation: 15/04/2020
It's been a few weeks since our last update, so we would like to share with you the latest on the current COVID-19 situation and how this may impact our customers.
Exponential-e's main support functions continue to operate business as usual; please do get in touch with our teams for any advice, help or support you may need. We are also continuing to proactively monitor our platforms and we can confirm we are operating within safe boundaries with headroom where needed.
With reference to the delivery of new orders, our provisioning team are working hard to deliver all current orders and projects as quickly as possible and we have seen some good success to date. Our fibre partners are continuing to operate in-line with government guidance; all orders are being accepted and progressed with the understanding that engineer safety is paramount and therefore all non-critical work inside customer premises will be carefully planned and managed.
Critical work has been defined as:- Any site related to the COVID-19 response.
- Health & Medical.
- Food supply chain – including wholesale, retail, transport, storage.
- Government.
- Manufacturing.
- Financial Services.
- IT and Telecommunications.
If you have any orders which fall outside the categories listed above, these will be progressed as far as it is safe to do so. Fibre will be provided to the curtilage of the premise, with a view to prioritise completion once the current social distancing guidelines have been relaxed.
Please be reassured that we will continue to monitor future developments and adjust our business accordingly. We want to remain transparent with our customers and we will continue to keep you updated.
