  • 3rd Line Network Engineer

    Type of role: full time permanent

    Location: London

    Overall purpose of the job:

    To manage and own support tickets in relation to existing customer services

    To work closely with the 2nd Line Service Desk team and the Solution Delivery team to assist in supporting customers and configuration tasks

    Key responsibilities for this job:

    • Regular communication verbally and written with existing customers
    • Provide 3rd Line support for incoming customer support queries and escalations from the 2nd Line Service Desk
    • Take ownership and effectively manage support tickets for incidents, change and service requests
    • Documentation of customer solutions – OSS System, Visio documentation, technical summary write up
    • Customer service simulation testing
    • Provide support and mentoring to 2nd Line engineers

      • Advanced knowledge of layer 2 and 3 protocols including QinQ, BGP, OSPF, VRRP

    Overall purpose of the job:

    • Manage and complete large tender responses to win new business and manage the process from initial request to contract signature ensuring compliance with customer requirements and highlighting company value proposition.
    • Will provide valuable input into each opportunity qualification, win strategies, commercial discussions and solution delivery.
    • Manage and assist in the completion of all PQQs , RFIs, RFQs and RFPs by drawing upon Boilerplate information and making relevant to client requirements.

  • Project Delivery Manager- Cloud

    Type of role: full time permanent

    Overall purpose of the job:

    The primary responsibilities will be to take ownership of external Customer Projects and to deliver those projects within a controlled environment. To be carried out in a manner that meets mutual customer and Exponential-e pre-defined objectives using recognised processes and methodologies.

    Key responsibilities for this job:

    • Keeping all Stakeholders up to date with all developments on the Projects using various recognised Project Documents.
    • Coordinating all Project Teams to realise set deadlines and milestones.
    • Ensuring the Project is at all times on track to fall within agreed tolerances. Notification to the Project Board of any forecasted delivery outside of these parameters and corrective measures to be applied.
    • Coordinating and chairing all Project Meetings.
    • Attending Project Bid and scoping meetings.
    • Presenting Exponential-e Project Management Approach to customers, providers and colleagues.
    • Coordinating any required customer training.
    • Completing Proposals, at times within short notice.
    • Responsibility for the internal system being correctly captured and labelled.
    • Updating internal generic Project Documents.
    • Managing escalations with all necessary parties and conveying progress to the customer as necessary.

    Knowledge and experience required:

    • Prince2 Practitioner.
    • Project Management experience.
    • Experience working within a service provider environment delivering Cloud based ICT solutions to customers.
    • Working technical knowledge of Exponential-e Products and Services including; Access Products, VPN, Hosted Telephony, SIP Trunking, VDC, DaaS, Online Back-Up, Server Replication and proven Project involvement.

    Provide 1st Line helpdesk and remote desktop support to Exponential-e customers

    Primarily responsible for managing and owning support tickets and driving customer issues through to resolution

    Key responsibilities for this job:

    • Respond to support calls as assigned within Service Level Agreements; ensuring calls are quickly and accurately logged, closed and analysed to prevent future occurrences, and that call resolution priorities are met
    • Escalate problem calls within the Cloud team to meet Service Level Agreements and ensure maximum level of customer satisfaction
    • Troubleshooting customer technical faults and working with external vendors and service providers to achieve fault resolution
    • Work as a team to deliver timely resolution to customer requests from telephone and email
    • Maintain an understanding of the internal escalation process
    • Jeopardy management to reduce escalation and SLA breaches
    • Maintain professional working relationships with customers, suppliers and work colleagues

    Knowledge and experience required:

  • Core Network Engineer

    Overall purpose of the job:

    The senior networking team are responsible for all aspects of maintaining and growing the core network architecture. This team sits at level 4 of the engineering hierarchy and are responsible for carrying out core network projects as well as providing advanced support for the 2nd and 3rd line engineering teams.

    Key responsibilities for this job:

    • Ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the core network
    • Providing support for 2nd and 3rd line engineers

    • Provisioning of sales orders through to handover to the technical team
